The Mighty Mac Pack_Oil

In the summer of 2019, my wife and I had the opportunity to return to Mackinac Island (Michigan, USA). The island is truly a magical place. It has a special beauty and charm. No automobiles are allowed on the island. Bicycles and horses fill the streets. We were there to be a part of an art exhibition, which was also very exciting. We took a horse drawn carriage tour of the island one day and I snapped some photos of the powerful team of draft horses that easily pulled us along. I chose one of the photos of the horses to start working on. I intended to start an oil painting. However, I have not painted in years, so I thought I had better draw it first.
