View from Cabin #2

On our painting trip to Maine this year, we stayed at a cabin on the water. On the first day, I walked out the door onto our tiny but perfect porch, and was struck by the amazing view of Frenchman's Bay with Mount Desert Island in the distance. I set up right then and there, and began to paint. I spent several mornings in that spot (with coffee in hand), and honestly several evenings as well (with wine in hand) as I could not drink in enough of the view... We need to return to this special spot again as there are many more paintings to do!
