Gussie

The painting of this black and white cat started as a special commission, a gift from a husband to his wife, of her favorite cat. When I arrived at the house to photograph 'Gussie' I was warned that she was elusive, and might not co-operate. I waited like a virtual fly on the wall until she rewarded me with this wonderful pose atop the bed where she often took her afternoon naps on hot summer days.
