Painted on location in Sedona over the course of 5 mornings, I biked to this cactus daily before sunrise. By the final morning the ritual was set, I'd hear the dog yell at the recycling plant and the subsequent coyote response, as Sedona awoke, the Prickly Pear and I communed.
